Hey there, curious human! 👋

So you want to know about me? Buckle up – this might get interesting (or at least mildly entertaining).

I'm Debs, and I spend my days crafting magical stories for middle-graders who are just starting to realise that adulting is a trap. When I'm not busy convincing fictional characters to behave themselves, I run a small stationery business – because apparently, I have a serious addiction to pretty paper and pens that I absolutely *had* to turn into a business. Don't judge.

I'm also the devoted hooman servant to two English Bulldog brothers, Taylor and Titan, who'll be turning 3 in October. They're basically furry dictators who've convinced me that my furniture is actually their personal kingdom. Taylor thinks he's a lap dog (spoiler alert: he's not), and Titan believes that every doorbell on TV is a personal invitation. They run this house, and I just pay the bills.

Currently navigating the wild world of empty-nesting and single life, which means I'm rediscovering who I am beyond "Mum" and "the person who knows where everything is." Plot twist: I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm having fun figuring it out! Who knows what adventures (or mild disasters) await?

I'm basically a creative magpie – if it involves making something with my hands, I'm probably into it. Writing, reading, journaling, crafting, DIY projects that may or may not end in mild chaos... You name it, I've probably tried it and made a glorious mess in the process.

Give me sunshine and water, and I transform into my happiest self. Pool, beach, lake – doesn't matter. I'm basically part mermaid, part sun worshipper. When do both elements combine? Pure bliss. I might actually purr.

Travel is calling my name louder these days (now that I don't have to pack for anyone but myself and the boys). Whether it's exploring hidden gems in the UK, getting lost in European cobblestone streets, or discovering new corners of the world, I'm ready for it all. Well, the safe corners anyway. I'm adventurous, not reckless! 😄
